Dr. Jenine wins ICT Woman of the Year @ iAward

I’m so very humbled to be named the Australian Information Industries Association ICT Woman of the Year. Thank you all for your support. This is a win for all of us! 🙂

I am also very proud to share it with the talented Brynlea from St Aidan’s who I met at last years Young ICT Explorers Awards, and Darcelle Hinze and Belinda Rex (a joint nomination with fellow group members Chelsea McGuiness and Ashley Burns) for their Kidz@GCU Mobile App. The app was developed as part of their third year project at my Alumni Griffith University. The fabulous #techgirls showed off their software at the Tech Girls Are Superheroes launch in Brisbane in March – I’m really proud of them! Their project won the inaugural Opmantek Award last year and gave the group significant exposure http://app.griffith.edu.au/news/2013/06/13/it-and-multimedia-students-get-competitive-edge/

Thank you Desiree Kelly aka Dreamstar from Team QUT for the nomination and to Dr Sue Nielsen, the story director, for the brilliant reference!
