WHY SHOULD YOU JOINS US?

Have you heard of Ada Lovelace? She was the first programmer in the world back in 1840.

What about Hedy Lamarr? While working as a Hollywood Screen Goddess in the 1920’s, she invented Spread Spectrum which is the basis for wifi that we use every day.

What about Grace Hopper? She invented the compiler in the 1950’s while working for the US Navy (her image is below on the video) and changed the way we talk to computers – from punch cards to computer code.

These incredible women are just a few of the women who have changed the world with technology. Come and join us to see the doco and engage in the Q&A following the event.

This is a crowdfunded event, meaning that unless we sell enough tickets it won’t go ahead. So join us for this fun night out talking about issues that matter to all of us.
