I am honoured to be the 2014 Patron of the Search for the Next Tech Girl Superhero.

My message to all young women contemplating their careers and life’s choices, is that “there are no wrong turns”!

Do not listen to the naysayers – go for it – “Think Big – and See Things Differently”

Think Big and See Things Differently

This YouTube video “Did You Know”  is a very uplifting and inspirational video that gives a phenomenal glimpse of the future

Imagine the world in the year 2020 – a world shaped by technology and creativity.  The next few years will see the most amazing changes in the way we live since the Industrial Revolution.  This period of creativity will be driven by technology breakthroughs and innovation – lifting billions of people from poverty and disadvantage.  This is a future of great opportunity for creative thinkers with the tools and skills to understand what they see and design what they imagine.

And given that future, we need more women making their career in technology – it is really the fabric of our economy and shapes our society.
